With the building materials used in the construction of Homes and Commercial buildings,
the slightest water intrusion or even high humidity can create conditions favorable
to microbial growth, some of which may be toxic.
Accurate Building Inspection Service Inspectors, certified and trained in EPA (Environmental
Protection Agency) standards, ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating
and Air Conditioning Engineers) standards, and IAQA (Indoor Air Quality Association)
standards, will investigate and assess the environmental issues present in the structure.
Our CIE (Certified Indoor Environmentalist) will provide a report in accordance
with strict industry standards. The NYDOH (New York Dept of Housing) “Guidelines
on Assessment and Remediation of Fungi in Indoor Environments” protocol
and the IICRC S-520 (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration) “Standard
and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation” protocols are
utilized to develop your report.
The report also includes the sample test results obtained during the assessment,
from an Environmental Microbiology Accredited Laboratory to assure the accuracy
of the contaminants found during the investigation.
